The importance of ventilation in chicken farms

More and more farmers are using chicken cages and poultry breeding equipment to raise. The increase in materials such as chickens and manure in the chicken cage will produce a lot of harmful gases. The air must be ventilated in summer and winter. How can the equipment of the chicken farm continue to ventilate?

It is important to know that many farms only pay attention to the temperature of the chicken coop and ignore the ventilation of the chicken coop. Especially in the cold winter, in order to maintain the temperature of the chicken house and reduce the heating cost. Farmers generally do not ventilate the chicken house, and it is estimated that insufficient ventilation of the chicken house will lead to an increase in broiler disease in the middle and late stages. If it is not ventilated in time, it is easy to cause chicken diseases. Then the ventilation of the chicken house is divided into summer ventilation and winter ventilation.

Summer ventilation: The higher the relative humidity in the chicken cage, the higher the possibility of heat stress of the chicken. While accumulating heat, the temperature of the chicken will rise, the appetite of the chicken will decrease, the laying of eggs will stop, and the chicken will die. , The density of chickens is reduced, which helps to reduce heat stress caused by heat, improve the comfort of chickens, and improve their production performance. When airtight chicken cages are ventilated and cooled in summer, farmers need to use blowers and curtain equipment for cooling operations. In open-type chicken cages, farmers can use ceiling fans to promote air flow on the chickens in the hot season, and to a certain extent alleviate the heat stress on the chickens. At the same time, blowers can be installed along the side walls of the chicken coop to exhaust the air from the chickens. Or blow fresh air to the chickens. There is an insulating layer on the roof to reduce the heat caused by sunlight radiation.

Winter ventilation: Natural ventilation uses temperature differences, relative humidity and natural air flow to remove excess heat and moisture. However, due to the continuous changes of the external daily temperature, wind direction, and the direction of the sun, the farm does not use exhaust fans but uses natural circulation, so that the ventilation cannot achieve the desired effect.
