According to the different production tasks and business nature, chicken farms are divided into original chicken farms, chicken farming equipment and commercial chicken farms. Among the various types of chickens, there are three stages of brooding, breeding chicken and laying hens. In order to prevent epidemics, some chicken farms have established broiler farms, brood chicken farms and laying hen farms, as well as integrated chicken farms, but the former are better.
In short, the site selection should be based on a combination of various tasks of the chicken farm, user-friendly, local natural conditions and national livestock production layout to determine the site of the chicken farm. Attention should be paid to the following issues in the selection of sites:
First, the chicken farm should choose a place with a high, flat, open and dry terrain. There should be surrounding walls and convenient drainage, sufficient water supply and good water quality. It is 500 meters away from public, rivers, villages (residential areas), factories, schools and other livestock farms, especially with livestock and poultry slaughterhouses and meat. The distance from the animal product processing plant should be more than 1,500 meters.
Second, the original chicken farms, breeder farms, hatcheries and commercial (meat, egg) chicken farms, as well as brooding and breeding workshops (fields) must be strictly separated, separated by more than 500 meters, and there must be isolation forest belts. The distance between chicken houses of various types of chicken farms should be more than 50 meters.
Third, the chicken farm should be far away from iron, traffic, and frequent traffic. The distance should be more than 500 meters, and the secondary public should also have a distance of 100 to 200 meters.
