The key to raising layer chicken in chicken battery cage

The key to the success of raising chickens is brooding. The quality of brooding directly affects the growth and development of chicks, the survival rate, the uniformity of the flocks, the disease resistance of adult chickens, the egg production of adult chickens, and the duration of egg production peaks. And even the economic benefits of the entire chicken industry. Therefore, it is very important to manage the feeding of chicks.

1. Preparation before brooding. Before brooding, the brooding house should be thoroughly cleaned, and the troughs, sinks and other utensils should be cleaned and strictly disinfected. Before entering the brood, the brooding house should be pre-warmed in advance, so that the temperature inside the house is relatively stable and easy to control.

2. Appropriate temperature and humidity. Temperature is one of the key factors for the success of brooding. Providing suitable temperature can effectively improve the survival rate of chicks.

3. Scientific breeding. Drink water before the chicks start eating. At 1 to 7 days of age, add glucose and electrolysis to the drinking water to facilitate the absorption of the yolk body of the chicks. Drink tap water after 1 week of age, to ensure that the water is clean and not to break water.

4. A reasonable lighting system. Light can increase the metabolism of the chicken, increase the appetite, the length and intensity of the light, the color and wavelength of the light, the start and stop time of the light stimulation, whether the dark period is continuous or indirect, and the activity, feeding, drinking and body development of the chicken Sexual development has an important impact.

5. Ventilation and ventilation. The metabolism of the chicks is strong, the amount of fresh air and exhaled carbon dioxide and water vapor required by the unit weight are high, and the ammonia is continuously released from the chicken manure. Poor environmental factors in the house will bring stress to the chickens, affect the normal activities of the birds, affect the growth and development of the body, and reduce the body's immune function.

6. Feeding density. Feeding density directly affects the growth and development of chicks, especially the uniformity of chicks, the density is too large, the chicken's range of activity is small, the chickens are squeezed, the feeding is uneven, the chicks are not neatly developed, and the size varies; the density is too small. It causes waste of the house and equipment, does not keep warm, and has low economic efficiency in poultry cage equipment.
